“The 69th Annual Fight For Freedom Fund Dinner is scheduled for Sunday, May 19, at Huntington Place. As we face critical decisions related to policies and programs concerning health care, the right to vote, economic access and developments, international crises of war and division, a rise in hate crimes, as well as tensions in colleges and universities across the nation, all of us must participate in the great cause of equality and liberty for all. “
HOST/HOSTESS AND DINNER MARSHAL TRAININGS
We are looking for volunteers to serve as a Host/Hostess or Dinner Marshals for the NAACP Detroit Branch's 69th Annual Fight For Freedom Fund Dinner. Host and Hostess must be between the ages of 15-19, Dinner Marshals age 20+. To sign up and view the training scheduled click the link below.
2024 B.R.I.D.G.E.S. Summer youth employment program
The Detroit Branch NAACP B.R.I.D.G.E.S. summer youth employment program will be a combination of virtual and an in-person experience. There are only 15 slots available! All youth and young adults interested in this opportunity must complete the inquiry form by Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
The 6-week program runs from July 8 to August 16 and you must be available the full length of the program.
