Today the people have been given some new tools. These tools will help every community to build on the foundation of a democracy which includes all people regardless of race, gender, location, age, or station. It is important to note that every election has a consequential determination on the people’s personal situation. Michigan has a Governor who understands the necessity to provide access, information, and protection for those in the family of Michiganders who seek to exercise their voting franchise.

A BALLOT BOX DISCUSSION - VOTER EDUCATION FORUM ON PROPOSALS 1, 2, & 3
Join the Detroit Branch NAACP and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Alpha Rho Omega Chapter for A Ballot Box Discussion on Proposals 1, 2, & 3. This voter education forum is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

The town hall is a nonpartisan event focused on educating voters on the candidate’s perspective on important issues facing the community.
