Detroit Branch NAACP Presents A Special Forum on the State of Relations Between Communities of Color and Law Enforcement

Please join the Detroit Branch NAACP on Friday, August 22 from 6-8 PM at Fellowship Chapel for a special forum on the state of relations between communities of color and law enforcement. ┬áThis forum is presented in light of several deaths of youth and young adults — McKenzie Cochran in Northland Mall, Ezell Ford in Los Angeles, Eric Garner in New York, Renisha McBride in Dearborn, John Crawford in Ohio, and Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. ┬áThe special forum will serve as an opportunity to have a conversation on strategies and programs to protect and serve minority youth, particularly African American, Latinos, Arab Americans and Muslim Americans
