Detroit Branch NAACP Presents A Special Forum on the State of Relations Between Communities of Color and Law Enforcement

.Special Law Enforcement Forum - Corrected

Please join the Detroit Branch NAACP on Friday, August 22 from 6-8 PM at Fellowship Chapel for a special forum on the state of relations between communities of color and law enforcement.  This forum is presented in light of several deaths of youth and young adults — McKenzie Cochran in Northland Mall, Ezell Ford in Los Angeles, Eric Garner in New York, Renisha McBride in Dearborn, John Crawford in Ohio, and Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.  The special forum will serve as an opportunity to have a conversation on strategies and programs to protect and serve minority youth, particularly African American, Latinos, Arab Americans and Muslim Americans

Please read our ABC’s of Voting to answer any questions you may have about voting in the Primary Election. Our voter help hotline will be available on Tuesday as long as the polls are open.
